When Arriving by Train
5 minutes by car from Higashi Karatsu Station on the JR Chikuhi Line.
A free shuttle bus goes between JR Higashi-Karatsu Station and the boat race stadium.

From Hakata Station, take the Fukuoka City Subway Airport Line or the JR Chikuhi Line.

When Arriving by Car
Free Parking (Approx. 2,170-car capacity)
From the Fukuoka Urban Expressway, get off at the Nishi-Kyushu Expressway Karatsu IC and drive for approximately 3 minutes.
From the Nagasaki Expressway, get off at the Taku IC and drive for approximately 30 minutes on the Kyuragi-Taku Toll Road and National Route 203.
We are offering a one-way refund service for tolls on the Fukuoka Urban Expressway, the Fukuoka-Maebaru Toll Road, and the Kyuragi-Taku Toll Road (only on days when races are held at Boat Race Karatsu).For details, please refer to Transportation Service.
When Arriving by Bus
On days when races are held at Boat Race Karatsu, city buses are in operation.

When Arriving by Airplane
From Fukuoka Airport Station on the Fukuoka City Subway Airport Line, take the JR Chikuhi Line and get off at Higashi-Karatsu Station. It's about 5 minutes by car.
